Peoples March SF Pride 2020

On the eve on San Francisco’s 50th anniversary of Pride celebrations this march which took place June 28th, 2020 was more of return to the Pride’s more political root structure. The March was organized in an effort to bring awareness to issues concerning police brutality, systemic racism and LGBTQ rights stemming from events in recent history such as the murder of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor by the police.

Dia De Los Muertos

I had the privilege of shooting the Dia De Los Muertos festival in 2016 in San Francisco on Novemeber the 2nd. Traditionally the festival is a 3 day celebration beginning October 31st and ending Novemember the 2nd. It's a Mexican holiday that focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. In San Francisco, California they have a parade to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead).
